Jon Messner was 17 when he was in a car accident and knee surgery seemed inevitable.

Jon read books on strength training, physical therapy and functional anatomy. Jon discovered knee tendinosis may be the result of weak muscles and started strength training and his knees felt better.

Jon opened
Jon Messner Personal Training in 2013. Shortly after, he started coaching track and cross country at Georgian Court University, and his unique approach has produced school records and conference champions.

Jon has more than 25,000 hours training moms, dads, grandparents, high school athletes and college athletes. He has a Masters degree in kinesiology and he is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist.
